May 2019My goal ever since I was young was to become a college softball player. I've been taking pitching lessons since I was nine years old. I started out in pitching machine and immediately fell in love with the sport. My brothers and I are all very sporty kids. We love to play softball/baseball in the yard. We're also very competitive.
I believe I am a great candidate for a college softball team because I am very competitive and dedicated. I never take off time from softball. I practice pitching and hitting year round. As my junior year is coming to an end, and my senior year is beginning I've decided not to play my other sports and strictly stick to softball. I did this because I know that I have a future in this sport. I am a team player. I would rather have a team that wins and loses together, rather than never talk and never work together. I am also dedicated to my education. I try very hard to succeed in all of my classes.
Thank you for taking your time to read my personal statement, and I hope you consider recruiting me.
