Calleigh Newberry '26 Recruiting Profile

What makes me a good candidate is I am a team player. Qualities that I hold that makes me a great team player are I would sacrifice my own success for my team's, I would want my team to succeed over my personal self and personal stats, and I would make sure I put in extra work to better myself for my team. What makes me different from other recruits is I am fantastic academically, and try my hardest in school to get the best possible grades I am capable of achieving. Athletically I dedicate myself to softball year round, working or practicing everyday to better myself at the game. My character is very self-motivated/driven, competitive, and quickly picks up new skills or catches onto new activities. I aspire to be the best possible softball player I can be, and I feel college would help make that possible.
