My name is Madelyn McKinnon and I am a catcher in the class of 2022. I have played multiple sports my whole life including soccer, swimming, taekwondo, volleyball and basketball. I started playing softball 5 years ago and since then it has become my passion. Softball is the perfect sport for me because I love being part of a team, and it allows me to push myself individually. In August of 2019, I was named to the Canadian Junior National team to compete in the Pan-Am world qualifier in Barranquilla, Colombia. This experience has driven my desire to play at the highest level possible. I consider myself to be very self-motivated and disciplined. I am a very coachable player, and I always look for ways to improve my game. My goal is to play on a college team where I can continue to grow my game and compete at the highest level.
