*Thankyou coaches for viewing my profile, I recently committed for this upcoming 2020 fall season, wish you all the best.
Hello coaches! As a grade 12 student I have since left my home with the love and support of my parents in Ponoka to attend Lambrick Park Secondary in Victoria BC. I am attending the diamond for excellence program under Rocky Vitale and am also excited to announce that I will be playing with the Victoria Devils for the 2019-2020 season.
While I embrace these new changes I also have not forgotten where I come from and how all of my past experience have challenged, changed and allowed me to grow as a person and athlete. I have played softball since I was nine and have had the opportunity to attend and learn new skills from different coaches and softball camps lead by instructors such as Jen Schroder, Megan Willis and Crystl Bustos. These instructors along with my strong family support system has guided me to being the adaptable player that I am.
This with be my fifth and final year of playing club/travel ball. While I can be described as a utility player as I have played other positions, my key position, catching, has been a natural fit for me. In this position I have found that my natural strengths are being vocal and showing leadership skills for my team. I am a coach able team player and being shy is not something you would describe me as.
My 2018 season saw that I was the starting catcher for 64 games and catching 323 innings. Out of those innings I was able to catch 21 runners stealing. My team placed first in Provincials and seventh in Canadian Nationals.
In 2016 while playing with the Red Deer rage team, my team and I won second at provincials which put us in the place to attend western Canadian finals.
When I am not playing on the field, you will find me keeping my softball skills sharp and engaging in other activities such as Basketball or in the weight room. My goal and dream is to play softball at a collegiate level. I thank you for your time reviewing my profile and look forward to my future endeavors.
