Miranda Ramirez '20 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

    My name is Miranda Ramirez and I am currently a sophomore at Anaheim High School in Anaheim, California. I have been playing the sport of softball since I was five years old. My main collegiate goal is to graduate and receive a degree in psychology. Besides that, being able to be a part of the softball program would be a wonderful accomplishment. It will not only pay off the hard work put in all those years but I can prove to my younger siblings and cousins that it is possible to manage going to university and playing a sport at the same time. I would be a good attribute to the team because I am positive, outgoing, and team player. What makes me different to the other recruits in character would be my attitude. I keep my head up no matter what is going on, if I am going through a slump, I will not let it affect my game and do my best to get out of it. In athletics, I have the benefit of knowing how to play the sport because that is how I grew up. In academics, I am a student who makes sure to complete all my work before the due date. It is important to have good grades to play any sport. In my perspective education comes before sports, it is a priority.
