Heaven Zamora '19 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Heaven Zamora and I'm a dedicated and hardworking softball player. I honestly know and understand every aspect of the game of softball. My most unforgettable accomplishments so far was was being recognized during my freshman and sophomore year as 1st team All- League. I have also been and started on the varsity softball team at my school since my freshman year.

     Realizing that I have all the aspects to play at a collegiate level makes me more excited about the future. Just recently I was chosen to be co-captain. My teammates and people on and off the field would describe me as hardworking, respectful, caring, nice, and passionate , not only for the game of softball, but outside of softball too. What I can provide a team with would be : 100% hustle on and off the field, constantly work hard to better myself and never give up even when things get tough. 

     I have had to overcome some obstacles like feeling like you're not good enough or even choosing the right friend group. My friends , family and God have helped me to always see the good and push me. I recently was selected to be in my church high school ministry leadership team and not only has it made me more responsible , God has provided me with people that love and will always push me to do my best. 

    I am very open-minded to the state, location or size when selecting a college. My ultimate goal is to receive a good education and play softball and just with that I'll be happy. The major I plan to get a degree is Elementary Education, then later become a 1st grade teacher. My main athletic goal is to continue playing the sport I love at the highest level. I want to contribute to the team and inspire others to never give up no matter what obstacles we are faced with.
