Nicole Tapson '25 Recruiting Profile

My softball journey began at age four. Little did I know at the time that my passion for the sport would continue to grow, and that it would become such a large part of my life. While working hard to develop my skills, I have learned to compete, be a supportive teammate, and exhibit good sportsmanship. Along the way, I have made many good friendships with teammates, coaches, and parents. I am a left handed centerfielder/outfielder and play for the California Storm as well as the Carmel High School Varsity team. I am a line drive, gap hitter who can also use my speed to drag bunt and slap. I take academics seriously, and have been a straight A student throughout school. My involvement in softball goes beyond playing as I am also on the board of a charitable foundation in the name of my late brother. The foundation raises money to fund young softball and baseball players who cannot otherwise afford to play. I am looking forward to playing softball at the collegiate level.
