Winning the Alliance 14U Tier l National Championship in the summer of 2021 was one of the most amazing experiences of my softball career. Fighting through that week allowed me to grow as a player and a teammate and gave me a sense of what it was really like to play for something bigger than myself. The Corona Angels have blessed me with excellent opportunities. The program really prepares student-athletes such as myself to have the hardworking qualities of a leader that will allow one to excel at the collegiate level. And throughout all the years I have been playing, I have been able to learn that though success feels great, it is my failures that really allow me to grow and work that much harder toward the player that I aspire to be. There is always room for improvement and a learning experience can be derived from any situation both on and off the field.
I know that there is more than just athletics that play a role in being a student-athlete and I pride myself on taking my academics very seriously. I would like to push myself as far as I go in school and know that the program I pursue would definitely allow me to do just that. Having the work ethic and desire to be better every day is going to permit me to excel in athletics and academics. I am blessed to see what the Lord has in store for me and I know that with a lot of drive and determination, I can be a culture changer in any program I am a part of.
