Personal Statement
My name is Kelsey Volkmar. I play for the Salinas Storm-Heen- 18 gold. I am a lefty pitcher and I also play first base. My schedule is full of softball, and I fit in helping my community. I am very active in 4-H, and I am a teen leader for one of our groups. I also show swine for Chowchilla FFA. In between softball practices, pitching lessons, tournaments, and hitting, I help my younger sister's travel softball team. She is on the 12u team from Madera. I love going out there with them and showing them some of the drills they have. My goal after high school is to get into a four-year college. I would like to someday go to law school.
