Alyssa Campos '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Alyssa Campos. I play for Athletics Mercado Carroll 16U and I play on Varsity for my high school softball team. I will graduate in 2024 from Eleanor Roosevelt High School, CA. I have played softball for 9 years and the last 4 years have been in travel. My primary position is pitcher but I can also play corners. I am excelling in all of my classes with a 4.0 and making sure I constantly keep up with my work ahead of time, so I can make room for softball. At Roosevelt I take part in AVID and the Humane Club. My favorite hobbies outside of softball are drawing/painting, baking and hanging out with my family. My family means a lot to me and they support me in all I do. My parents were the ones that got me into softball and I have loved the sport ever since I laid my hands on my first glove! I don't know what I would do without them. In softball, some people call me PO because they think all I can do is pitch, but wait till you see me on the field!
