Since I was 8 years old, softball had something special for me than any other sports I played. As I grew older to the age of 12, I suddenly knew softball was something I wanted to do through high school and college.
Right now, I am a couple of months away from finishing my junior year at Etiwanda High School. I believe that everyone has goals in their life, either large or small. My current goals are 1) graduate high school with my best grades possible, 2) get accepted to a 4 year college and 3) play the sport I love in college. These goals are not for my parents, but for me. These goals will set me up for success and prepare me to accept and handle failure. I know it's alright to fail sometimes because we have to learn from our mistakes and own up to them. No one said it was going to be easy. If it were easy, everyone would be playing softball.
I'm always open to improving and learning new things to become a better player. As a team mate I encourage my team to be the best student athletes they can be and to respect one another on and off the field. I consider myself to be a great student athlete and I know grades come first.
At the moment I have a GPA of 3.83 and working to increase my GPA. The colleges I'm looking for is one with a great creative writing with a fun competitive athletic environment . I want to stay on the west coast, but I am open to look a little farther out. I will give it my 120% to face obstacles ahead of me in order to play the sport I love.
