I have trouble being who I am because I’m afraid of what people will think of me. I’m always asking my friends what I should do about a certain situation or what clothes go with what. I can never think on my own without another person’s opinion. Sometimes I can be irksome to some people.
I used creativity by not caring about what other people think. I have never been one to be sure of myself when it came to my style whether it was my style of dress or how I applied my makeup. My friend Brianna Carrillo has helped contribute to the person that I have become. She has showed me to have a different point of view on having a stronger opinion on myself.
Brianna in my opinion is a very beautiful girl, although if asked she may disagree. She always seems to put her outfits together and make them look good without effort. Her makeup as well is applied without much effort and still manages to make it look good.
Brianna has made me understand that in life things are not always right or wrong and that people are entitled to their opinions, right, wrong, or indisparate. She has helped me realize that people are not always in our lives forever and that it does not matter what they think of you. If someone does not like you for who you are, then that is something that they need to deal with. I have struggled with people’s negative opinions about me, but I continue to remember that these people are not going help me achieve my goal of becoming a nurse. I will not allow negativity to become an obstacle in my goal of becoming a nurse. People’s opinions are not going to help get me to my goal. The only thing I need to worry about is how I am going to get myself to become successful. My motto from now on will be forward and onward.
