I’ve been around baseball and softball since I was about five. My father was a baseball coach so after school, I went with him to his practices. I'd always had an interest in baseball but I always participated in things like dance. I never really told my parents that softball was and interest for me. When I turned twelve I finally told them so they signed me right up. So we started off at a nearby rec league. I started as a third baseman and we didn't have a catcher so I stepped up and learned the position. I found that catching was one of the most difficult positions but for me, it felt like I was supposed to be a catcher. I play third base, catcher, and left and right field. My goal for my life is to get a good education and become an OBGYN. My academic goal for high school is not have any grade lower than B-. I hope to one day be where I want to be and maybe coach younger children.
