My name is Dayanara Hernandez-Garduno, and I am a sophomore student athlete at Entrepreneur High School in Fontana. I play both Volleyball and Softball. From playing both of these sports it had taught me to be a team player, leader, and it had also taught me to become a well disciplined player. I'm hoping to fulfill my goal of playing softball at the next level while majoring in business and finance.
I have played softball for the past two years, and during my freshman year of high school, my love for the game has grown. During my sophomore year I started to get interested in pitching for my high school team which makes it my first ever year I pitched. I also practice on the weekends and during the week to always strive to be the greatest version of myself both on and off the field. I'll make sure to balance my academic and athletic obligations because I know that competing at the collegiate level comes with a lot of hurdles and time commitment.
