Receiving a college education is the main goal on this long journey. Softball has given me another way to receive an education, but my academics and success in the classroom will also help. Many valuable lesssons were learned on the softball field, like how to hold strong in the face of defeat and how to lead a team to success. Throughout my softball career I learned to adapt and play mutiple positions, as well as take on multiple leadership roles on various teams. Giving up has never been an option, even when there were times when I was injured, I did everything in my power to get back out on the field. Every time I step foot on a field I remember what my dad used to tell me when I was younger: "Have fun working hard."
