My name is Julianna Mejia and my collegiate goal is to earn a degree while playing softball. After college, I would like to earn my master's degree in sports medicine and help student-athletes reach their full potential by teaching them the proper techniques and fundamentals.
Competitive sports have helped me mature and become a strong-minded person. It has taught me not to take criticism personally and to use it as motivation to succeed in the classroom, softball diamond, and basketball court.
I have several attributes to contribute as a player, teammate, and student. I like to lead by example, but also praise others in leadership roles. I'm reliable and willing to make sacrifices to help achieve a common goal. Lastly, I'm a family-oriented person and like to create a welcoming and fun environment.
