My name is Sadie Mitchell and I am a 2026 RHP/Utility currently playing softball for the El Toro Highschool Varsity team as well as the So Cal Athletics organization under Head Coach Bruce Richardson. Before that I played for the Firecrackers Brashear organization for the last 6+ years. I am a power right-handed pitcher with strong command and tunneling of my strong drop ball with my other pitches. I am also a gap to gap power hitter with good speed to put pressure on the defense even when hitting hard ground balls. I am very adaptable as an athlete and very focused and driven as both a person and player, constantly taking on whatever role my team needs me to. I strive to be a role model to my little sister while showing her how to play the game the right way as I even help to coach her teams whenever I get the chance. My goal is to play the game of softball as long as I can at the highest level I am capable of and then ultimately transition to a career in sports broadcasting, journalism and statistics. Most would describe me as a hard-working athlete, focused, constantly working to improve, and a great teammate who leads by example. I wear number 12 in honor of my brother, Zachary, who passed away in 2021 when he was 9 and I was 12, it reminds me he's with me and how much we loved to compete with eachother.
