Personal Statement

My name is Isabella Ochoa. When I was little, I always looked up to my two older sisters. I would watch them play softball in the local rec league and I wanted to be just like them. So that's how it all started. I fell in love with the game at 7 years old and ever since then my goal has been to play at the collegiate level. Other than softball, I love to travel with my family. I'm grateful that my sport has given me the opportunity to visit several states that I haven't been to before. So far, my favorite state I have visited has been Colorado. It is incredibly beautiful there. I have been taught ever since I was young to give 100 percent in everything, I do no matter how hard it gets and that's exactly what I will do.
