Tell coaches about your collegiate goals and aspirations.--

My name is Morgan Golightly. Ever since I started playing softball, I knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level. I want to be acknowledged as an accomplished athlete and I want my name to be known. I have always had a very large desire to do well in life and have a successful job. I would ideally like to own my own company/business. 

What makes you a good candidate for their team? --

I have always been seen as a leader, but I also like to listen to others for their input.  I have a very determined and competitive mindset. Being driven is helpful when dealing with sports. I have been told that I am a “go-with-the-flow” type of person with an open mind and laid-back personality. I mainly play center-field, but I can also play both middle infield positions, as well as third base.

What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?--

Character-wise, I do not let the little things get to me and I don’t crumble under pressure. I am extremely hard-working and will always do my best. In academics, good grades are a must. I would never want my academic level to affect my athletics, so I strive to do my absolute best in school. Lastly; athletics. I am fast on my feet and in my head. I try my best to know what is going on at all times. In softball, I will adapt to any situation, position and learn any coaching technique given to me. I am a quick-learner and want to continue learning more.
