I just finished my freshman year at Venice High School in Los Angeles, California. I was a starting infield utility player on the varsity team until COVID-19 cut our season short. For my high school season, I was playing mostly 2nd and 3rd base. For my travel team, Ohana Tigers, I play a lot of 2nd and 3rd but I get moved around playing infield and outfield.
My first softball experience was a local Little League. I started playing later than most girls. When I was 11 years old I qualified for the Little League 12u All-Star team. We won our District, Section, and the Southern California State title. We had the opportunity to play in the Western Regional Tournament in San Bernardino, California, which was an awesome experience. Even though we lost, I got to experience being away from home, playing softball, and having roommates.
These experiences started the passion and love I have for softball. I am motivated to play college softball at an institution that gives me the opportunity to pursue my academic interests.
