Sara Cano '19 Recruiting Profile

The most important things for me to accomplish are to further my education while playing softball.  I have played with and against some of the best prospects and teams in my age group. I have hit, successfully, against the best pitchers in Orange and Los Angeles County.  I am usually not this arrogant but I want people to know that I am good enough to play against the best competition in the country.  

Softball and school do not come easy to me. I have learned that in order to reach my goals, I have to work hard in order to be successful. from spending countless hours doing homework with my mom, she is a school teacher, to spending countless hours with my Dad hitting off the tee and in the batting cage.  

This is what I will bring to your school. Hard work, leadership, and a winning and positive attitude! 

Here are a few of my immediate and long term goals:

• To improve on my .500 BA and .596 OBP in the upcoming High School season
• Continue to work hard to become the best student athlete that I can be
• Play hard for my travel team
• Lead Bishop Alemany to a CIF championship
• Graduate Bishop Alemany with honors
• Go to college and play softball
• Earn a college degree
