The game, the team, the parents, the coaches, and the family that it created for me was a huge impact on who I am today. The wins do feel good, but the loses really don't. The loses are important through because you can learn and grow from those games. Leadership, nothing is given to you, hard work, time management, and not overthinking is what I have learned through softball.
My academic goals for for High School and College would be A's but I have fallen short with my Spanish grade because I didn't get the proper help I needed. I have overcame plenty of challenges. Most likely there are still more on the way. The most difficult challenge I have learned was realizing not to dwell on the past mistakes and to move forward. What I can offer to your college is huge spirit, competitiveness, effort, full speed full time, respect, and a good attitude. I love softball, maybe too much, but there's no greater gift than becoming a family with the team.
