My dream is to play for a competitive softball program while pursuing my education. I am working hard to maintain my high GPA by continuing to take higher level classes. My goal is to find a school in which I can receive a quality education while contributing to a team. I will need to pursue an undergraduate as well as graduate degree to pursue my dream job in sports medicine.
I started playing softball when I was 6 years old and fell in love with the game. I started pitching right away and never looked back. When I was 12 years old and first started travel ball I quickly learned that I had to prove to my coaches that I deserved to be in the starting lineup. This has helped me to strengthen my work ethic and allowed me to keep growing as a player. I may not have always gotten the opportunities I wanted, but I learned to work harder and persevere so I could take advantage of the opportunities I did get. I consider myself to be hard working and determined both in the classroom and on the softball field.
