Denise Carrillo '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Denise Carrillo, I am a senior at Pete Knight High School in Palmdale CA. I play for Stealth Fastpitch and I am the Varsity Team Captain at my school. I have been playing softball since I was 9 years old and I still fall in love with the game all over again every time I step foot on the field. Softball has given me many opportunities and has created memories that I still think about, these memories allow me to learn from mine and others mistakes to become a better player and person for those around me. I have 2 younger sisters that look up to me and push me to become a better role model, whether it be on or off the field I try my best to be a good example so they can be better than me. I consider myself to be very coachable, naturally driven, and competitive. I believe I have the mental toughness and integrity to accomplish so much more and to be apart of something bigger.I strive to be both dependable and leader. I am looking forward to graduating High school and am determined to further my education while playing softball. As of right now I plan on majoring in Electrical  Engineering.
