Going to college to study what I'm most passionate about has been a long term goal of mine since I was in eighth grade. I've always wanted to be a coroner, and to study criminology with all of its ins and outs. Academically, I've always tried my hardest at getting straight As. Even if I didn't get the perfect GPA or perfect grades, I knew that the work I put into the world was my best. The same goes for my career in softball. I have loved the sport ever since I was eight years old, and I still love it to this day as a seventeen year old. The opportunities presented with playing in college are endless because of the amount of new experiences and new friends that I will encounter. Not only is softball a defining characteristic of who I have become, it is why I have the motivation to do things that are difficult. It showed me how hard work really does pay off, and I learned to transfer that into my academic and personal life as well.
