Kennedy McCarthy '18 Recruiting Profile

There are many things that have influenced me in my life. Throughout my life my entire family has always encouraged me to go out there, do what you love and what makes you happy. If it was not for that advice I would most likely not be where I am today. I have learned to push myself to do things that I knew I could do, but never had the courage to do it. My father has been around sports his entire life, which is the main reason it has been apart of mine or so many years. I started playing t-ball when I was very young, and have been around the sport ever sense. Through playing softball, it has helped me keep my grades up throughout the year. If I can't keep my grades up, I would not be able to play this sport that gives me so much joy. Although I enjoy playing softball right now, it was a rocky road to get here. My father had been pushing me to get to where I am today, to help me further my education, and to do something spectacular with my life. There were ups and downs to get through this process but I am very happy with the position that I have been helped through. I have always been told that I am unique is different ways. One of those ways is that I am involved in The Great All American Youth Circus, and I have been involved in this for 10 years.
