Personal Statement
Playing softball since I was 5 years old has taught me a lot about myself that I never would have discovered without the game. Team work, camaraderie, strengthening myself physically and mentally as an athlete aspire me to be a better player and person than I was the day before. I am always pushing myself to the next level because I will never be fully satisfied with my playing ability and there’s always something to learn. When I am not in the field, I spend my time focusing on school, giving back to my community and being with my friends and family. I hope that through continued hard work on and off the field, I will achieve my dream of attending and playing softball at a four year university.
