Savanna Newman '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, 

My name is Savanna Newman and I live in Rancho Cordova, California. To me the most important thing in life is my family. They have been there since day one supporting me in my softball journey. They have been there through my ups and downs and have guided me through the hardest times. I am a hard-working student in the classroom, maintain a 3.5 GPA while also challenging myself with advanced classes. Since I was two years old I’ve been involved in sports whether it was gymnastics, soccer, basketball or softball. My real passion however is Softball. That’s where I feel at home. I try my hardest to work on something every day to better myself including tee work, hand drills, playing catch, running or even just watching the game on TV. I try to keep a good mindset throughout the game which helps me be a better teammate to my peers as well as showing respect to my coaches. Preparation is everything. I currently play for the 16U Lady Magic-Walling team in Northern California. I await the future and what it holds for my softball career.
