I have been playing softball for thirteen years and hope to play through college. This sport has taught me so many skills and life lessons, such as being a leader. I work so hard to constantly improve from day to day practices, to weightlifting to hitting lessons. My hard work has made it possible to achieve a 2.75 home to first time. I have great range in the outfield and can cover a lot of ground. If you were to compare my old skills video to my new one, you will see a huge jump in my arm strength. Due to my size, my arm strength used to be a challenge. After a lot of time and hard work at the field, I have turned that challenge into one of my strengths. Now that I have talked to you about my skills, I want to discuss how I am as a person. I always carry a smile on my face and have a positive attitude. I am also a very energetic person and I will be that player up on the fence losing their voice. The sport of softball is what my heart desires and what brings me joy.
