2022 Jessica Wert...Personal Statement
I am a hard worker on and off the field. I have been playing softball since I was five years old and I have always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. I want to attend a college where I can excel both in the classroom and on the diamond. My goal is to find the right college match with the highest level of competition, where I can lead by example and be driven by my teammates.
On the field, I strive to be coachable, hardworking and dedicated. In the classroom, I work hard to maintain my 4.4 GPA. I find joy in the work and strive to have a balance between my academics and love for the game.
I also volunteer through community ministry, with an Immersion trip to Jamaica scheduled in the summer of 2020, as well as work as a peer tutor to elementary students in my free time.
