Jolie Gustave '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Jolie Gustave! I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and my goal has always been to play college softball. I love softball so much and want to give everything I've got into this amazing sport. When I'm on the field I have a sense of belonging, like I belong playing softball, I feel at home on the field. It's something I've always known I can't live without. However, I don't just play for myself and my future career as a  collegiate athlete, I honestly play for my mom who gave me this opportunity in the first place and who has loved and supported me through my entire career as an athlete. I want to give back to her everything she has given to me. I also play for God. He blessed me with this amazing gift and I'm so proud to play for Him. 

After I graduate High School, I want to play for a Division I school and study Journalism and Media. I've always loved working with cameras and being on camera as well. I'm a part of, what we call at Mater Dei, "Monarch Television" which is basically a morning news show for our school. I'm one of the anchors on the show and love it so much! It's exactly what I aspire to do when I graduate.
