I DREAM BIG!!!My name is Gabriella Walker and I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you and your program. I am Scholar Athlete;right handed pitcher, and 1st baseman from Whittier California. I have been involved in sports most of my life. The discipline, commitment, and friendships that come with playing softball are so valuable to me. I have been a pitcher since I was 7 years old, my pitching coach is Doug Finch, he has always told me, if Softball was still in the Olympics, I could be as good as his daughter Gold Medialist Jenny Finch, that always brought so much determination to me. As a pitcher, I lead my team by example on and off the field. My goal for the team has always been to be POSITIVE, give 100%, and do the best job we can! I am a fierce competitor and I love to WIN! It is my DREAM to find the perfect college offer, the right mix of strong academic program, as well as softball team. My education is very important to me and if I could play softball well getting a great education, I would feel as tho, I have lived my DREAM! I hope you would take a moment to review my profile as well as my letter of Recommendation from Coach Julie Adams under the preference tab. I am currently a Senior at St Paul High School with a GPA of 4.5 and will be graduating out of the class of 2015. During my freshman year I was the captain of the junior varsity softball team, starting pitcher and 1 st baseman, then mid season I was asked to move up to the varsity level team where I continue to play as a pitcher and first baseman, at the end of the season, I was awarded MVP. My Junior year my Softball & Volleyball team captured the CIF Championship as well as my softball earned the State Championship it was an amazing accomplishment. During the Summer of 2014 , I was selected by Christie Ambrosi & Julie Adams to participating with USA International Softball Team, I was completely honored and was ready to show my skills. As for the summer of 2015, I will be participating with an international team in the Dominican Republic. I am a very dedicated and hard working player and I am willing to go the extra mile to do what it takes to contribute to the success of my future softball program. I consider myself as a team motivator, who leads by example and I am ready to join your softball program. Thank you in advance for considering me for a position on your team.
