My name is Alaina Marshall and I'm a class of 2017 from Selma, CA. I currently play for Clovis Rockets 18u Gold team. I am a lefty slapper that can hit for power and also play middle infield.
I'm a hard working softball player that knows the game. I am a team player and very coachable. I am on a travel team that is 4 hours away (one way) so I could be on a team that plays at the competitive level. I also work several hours a week on my own to better my softball skills, along with a hitting coach once a week and a personal trainer 4x a week.
I work hard in the classroom as well as on the field. My GPA has been a 3.6- 4.0 while in high school. I am looking to pursue nursing in college as well as a program with a competitive softball team.
When I am not spending time on the field, training or keeping up with my studies, I am lending a helping hand at home. I have a younger brother that has special needs. As you can imagine, life at home can get crazy at times but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I have accomplished different and difficult challenges and I am convinced I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. Whether that is academics, softball or just life in general, he motivates me to do the best I can!
