Personal Statement
My name is Destiny Young. I am the starting Catcher and Third Baseman on Central Valley High School's varsity softball team. I am currently 17, and a Senior at Central Valley. I have been playing softball for ten years. I have played on a plethora of different types of softball teams; ranging from recreational teams to college level travel teams. I am a natural born leader both on and off of the field. Every time I play, whether it is practice or the championship game, I play at one hundred percent. I believe that no matter how good of a player you are, you can always better yourself. I enjoy pushing myself to be the most advanced player that I can be. I hope to be a part of a collegiate softball team that I can build with.
