Hi coaches.
My name is Katelyn grant I am a class of 2024 graduate from Fremont High School in Sunnyvale Ca. I have been playing softball since I was in third grade and fell in love the first time I tied my cleats I watched my sister play from a young age, she was a pitcher and inspired me to start a new journey and she is the reason I am the athlete I am today. Now, I did not know positions or even how to throw but I knew I needed to play. Since then I have been playing competitively non-stop since 2012, learning and growing with my teammates and coaches. I am a determined hard working player who loves to win, that being said I play hard and practice harder. I love getting better and learning more about my game, im easy to teach and quick to learn. I am a working student athlete and keep my good grades and work when I have the time but I look forward to the peace in the chaos which is playing softball. When I step on the field all my problems are left in the locker room. This game means everything to me and its been my dream to be better than I was before and to put the work in to see the difference. I want to play in college, if not a want its a need. Softball is my life and I breathe competition, in the classroom and on the field. Regardless I will play and I dont plan on anything stopping me, I can't wait to see what the future holds for me.
