My name is Makyia Taylor, I have been playing competitive Softball since the age of 10. My primary position is Catcher, but I can play anywhere needed to help the team and I am a power hitter. Marty Tyson is my hitting coach. I am coachable, hardworking and dependable on and off the field. I am looking for a college that I can excel not only on the field but in the classroom as well. My goal is to one day become an Anesthesiologist. I am excited about playing softball at the highest level along with getting my bachelor's degree. I have been around softball my whole entire life as my sister, Khala Taylor, played and graduated from at University of California, Berkeley in 2017. Softball is in our DNA. I can't wait to speak with you directly or attend a camp so you can get to know me on and off the softball field.
