Anna Wollert '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Anna Wollert. I aspire to play college softball for four years while obtaining my undergraduate degree in pre-med or biology. After completing my undergraduate degree, I plan on continuing my education to obtain my medical degree. Academics is a high priority in my life. I believe that every player on the team has value, that every player brings something unique, and I can learn from anyone on my team. I believe that I am a strong leader. I have learned that as a leader, my actions speak loudly to others on my team. I believe that learning how to reach players on my team is important for developing good team chemistry. I value people who are honest, work hard, have a positive self esteem, and have integrity; therefore, I work hard to be that type of person. I understand what it means to work hard to come back from an injury, and I cherish my time that I get to compete. There is nothing better than competing against myself, my teammates, and then competing against other teams. I also understand that my character will last longer than my athletic career, but that my athletic career will shape my character. These will also impact my academic career.
