My name is Maria Santilli, I'm 18 years old and a senior at Bristol Central High School. I have been playing softball for over 13 years. I have played all the way through from age 5 to high school. I have been a Varsity starter all four years of high school. I am a multi-sport athlete playing varsity soccer as well. I also am currently playing for The Connecticut Titans U18 team. School grades are very important to me as a student athlete. My GPA is 3.51. Some awards I have received are 7 Central Connecticut All Academic Team awards throughout these past four years and Bristol Central High School honor roll throughout all four years. As a student athlete and a person the word perseverance means a whole lot to me. My ability and passion to give it my all no matter how challenging athletics or life can be is what I believe separates me from others. I value what I do on and off the field. I am compassionate and care a lot about others. I owe that to my parents and all of the coaches I have had over the years. Playing at the collegiate level is my dream and what I have been working so hard for. I believe that I will be a great addition to any team and any college.
