I am very interested in playing for a college team. I have the leadership skills as well as the determination it takes to bring my skills to the next level. I am looking for an opportunity to play the sport I love as well as get an education to pursue my career in the major I choose. I am interested in engineering or working in the medical field because I have a great interest in science. I have no preference on the division level I would play at but I would like to be able to focus on academics as well as softball. Since I live in Connecticut, a college or university on the east coast or in New England is ideal but I am open to any location.
As a freshamn I was brought on to start in an entire new position for the varsity team. It was very frustrating not being able to cleanly field balls and not contribute positively to my team. Through all the grueling practices and frustration, I managed to have success in the infield. This upcoming season as a sophomore, I will be looking to develop my skills as both an infielder and an outfielder.
Softball has provided me with many new friendships, relationships, experiences, and lessons. It has taught me how to overcome obstacles and frustrations and use them to empower successes. Softball allows me to escape from everything and when I step on the field I am able to give everything I have.
