Going into high school, I was completely ready for a new challenge and that is exactly what I got. My high school coach had me starting at shortstop my freshman year, I practiced hard every day and was ready to play wherever I was needed which happened to be shortstop the whole season. I started playing travel softball with the Southington Lightning 01s team 4 years ago. I played 1st and 3rd but I slowly began catching more and more, eventually catcher became my main position. I have 4.45 GPA and my studies are a priority for me. I am hoping to get an education in the medical field or in biology. I have 2 other siblings who plan on going to college as well so I am willing to put in the time and effort needed to get scholarships and financial aid. I never back down from a challenge and this is one of the many to come.
