Maura Keary '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I am Maura Keary, I live in Fairfield, Connecticut. I play second base and outfield. I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old, and the opportunity to play the game has helped me grow as a person and as an athlete, throughout my entire life. I cannot imagine not playing softball after high school, for it has been a significant part of my life for 11 years. The competitive level of my high school team and my club team has lead me to be capable of playing at the college level. I look forward to finding a college program that will be suitable for me, athletically, as well as academically. I am always willing to put in any amount of work necessary to be where I need to be, in school and in playing softball. I hope that my strength of speed,  my determination, and strong work ethic will help lead me to the right team. I believe that I have the skill to play on a college team; I also have a strong passion and energy on and off the field that will help me compete at higher level.
