Nicolina Salanto '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was in 5th grade.  Ever since I started in 5th grade where my dad put me in Little League, All-Stars, and Travel I loved softball and I knew it was my sport. One of my biggest supports is my cousin who went to Sacred Heart Division 1 and played softball, she tells me that my goal is to get 1% better everyday and that is my goal every time I work. My goal is always to work harder than whoever in front of me because I believe that hard work pays off. One of my best softball characteristics I would say is how I am very coach-able and will do whatever I am asked to do. I have been playing sports since I was 4 years old so I know how to be a good teammate and a good player. Although I may come across as shy when first met, that does not affect how I play since I always give softball my all and all of my energy and effort.
