Ava Chernak '25 Recruiting Profile

As being a student-athlete, I am looking for a college that offers me an opportunity to pursue my academic journey as well as playing softball at a collegiate level. I am currently a rising sophmore (2025) in high school playing both travel and high school softball. I am a straight-A student in honors and AP classes. I started playing softball at the age of 9, after 6 years of being a figure skater. I found a great intrest in the sport and started travel softball during 12u and have continued it ever since. I am player that focuses on personal success just as much as my teammates success as well. This sport has given me the opportunity to build confidence as well as hold onto years of friendships. I hope to continue playing in college as softball has developed me into the person I am today.
