Mia Magriz '25 Recruiting Profile

Uncommitted senior catcher and first baseman seeking to obtain a college degree while playing softball at the highest possible level where I will have the opportunity to earn the ability to contribute. I attend Westminster High School, a private collegiate preparatory boarding school, where I am going on my second season as the team captain, providing leadership on and off the field. One advantage I have as a student athlete is my 4 years of experience juggling a rigorous academic schedule while balancing a busy sports schedule. I am accustomed to the schedule and also life away from home, living and working with others.

During my high school career I have been selected to the league All-Star game 3x, I have been selected All-Western New England 3x, and selected to the All-New England team once. Defensively, I consider either catcher or first base as a primary position and work equally hard on my skill work at both positions. I believe I can bring a team an impactful bat and have hit over .500 every year in high school while batting either 3^rd or 4^th in the lineup. In the summer I play for the Connecticut Charmers 18u Gold Senerchia team and have experience catching D1 and solid D2 pitchers. This is an elite team, with the best coaching, that plays in the best tournaments against top competition.
