I have been playing softball since Elementary school and now in High school I have an even greater love for the sport than I ever would have imagined. I watched my older sister play until I was old enough and as she moved on to other things my passion for softball continued to grow. Besides playing in middle school and high school, I have been playing travel softball since age 10 and have met some of my very best friends who share my love for the game. I am so excited to be a part of collegiate level softball and cannot wait for all the experiences it will bring. I know it may be hard to balance academics and softball but I am confident I will be able to meet the challenge with the support of my school, professors and coaches. My entire High school years I have been on the swim team, indoor track team, softball team and on a travel softball team, so I am very familiar with the commitment that sports involve and I continue to be an Honors student. I am always trying to better myself academically to accomplish my goal of becoming a Teacher in the future. I have always enjoyed babysitting and helping out at a local preschool during school breaks. Some of my fondest memories are of my childhood teachers and I would love to be a role model for other children one day myself. I am looking forward to finding a college that will give me the best foundation of teaching and also allow me to continue my passion on the softball field.
