Cailey Chevrier '13 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old. I play for my school, East Ridge High. We were District Champions, as well as the Regional Runner-up. Also, I play for the Tampa Heatwave and I am one of the leaders on the team. My fellow teammates and coaches have voted me MVP for multiple tournaments and games. Softball has been and always will be my passion. Ever since I first started playing softball, my dream has been to play for college. If I'm not playing softball I am watching it on television. I have always wanted to be on a team thats playing for the Womens College World Series. Nursing or sports medicine is what I believe want to major in at college. I look forward to going to practice every week and to games every weekend. I always work hard and never give up. I am a very competitive person and will do whatever it takes to help my team come out on top. I am 5'7 and 160 pounds. Consistently, I can get to first base in 2.9 seconds and from home to home in 12.5 seconds. Pitcher, first base, and third base are my primary positions, but I am willing to play anywhere on the field.
