Alyssa Grimes '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alyssa Grimes, I will Graduate from Strawberry Crest High School in 2021.  Education is important part of life and I work hard to maintain a 3.8 GPA, take honors classes, and stay very involved in FFA (Future Farmers of America).

I am an athlete who knows and plays the game of softball.  At 14 years old and 5'7" I am able to consistently throw a 60mph fast ball and change up at 45mph, my "go to" pitch has always been a screwball but starting to love a drop ball.  I can also play the corners on the diamond and outfield.  I am willing to put in extra time and would be considered a very coachable and hardworking athlete.  I have a passion for the game of softball and strive to be the best athlete I can be.

When it comes to choosing a school I would like to stay in my home state of Florida.  However, I am open minded and will consider any school if I feel its the right fit for me.  My top three choices for a major right now would be Business Management, Education or Agriculture.

My athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a very competitive level.
