Bella Chenet '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Isabella (Bella) Chenet and I am part of the Graduating Class of 2022. I play on both the Archbishop McCarthy High School's Varsity Softball Team (CF) and Intensity KOD/Morales 18u travel team (CF/OF). I also play for the Dominican Republic Olympic Softball Team (CF). I am fast, a smart base runner, able to track a ball extremely well, and can cover a lot of ground in the Outfield. I have also been nicknamed "The Black Hole" of the outfield.As a student athlete, academics is very important to me as well. When I am not playing softball, I work hard to ensure my GPA stays over a 3.5, it is currently at a 3.9. I am also very involved in several extracurricular activities at school/community. I am currently undecided for my major, but I am interested in Psychology, Business, and Criminal Justice.I have been playing softball since I was five years old and travel ball since I was seven years old. Im a great candidate for your softball program because I understand the commitment and sacrifice this game needs to succeed. I am self-motivated, committed, and I work hard on improving my game on and off the field. I give 110% in both practices and games. I am a strong believer that the way you practice is the way you play in games. I have a batting coach that I go to and I consistently work on my own to make myself a better player. I know that I want nothing more than to continue my love for this game in college. I love this game because I enjoy being part of a team. I have built so many lifelong friendships and memories and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
