Hey everyone!
My name is Harlee Mills and I am a 2023 1B/OF from Fort White, FL where I attend Fort White High School and play travel ball for the Team Florida Evoshield. At first base, I have a good range and can stretch to throws that are high as well as scoop low throws. In the outfield, I track the ball well and have quick, consistent throws to the infield. At the plate, I am selective with the ability to drive the ball in the gaps. I have played this sport since I was eight years old and it is my dream to continue on to the next level. I can't think of a day that has passed without softball being on my mind. This sport needs players that are devoted and will put in the time and effort it takes to go the distance. I am willing to do that! I work hard every single day for this sport, and for my future. When off the field, I focus on my schooling. Since sixth grade I have been named the academic player for each sport I have participated in. Currently I have a 4.6 GPA and I take AP, Honors, and Dual Enrollment classes. I also have a 27 ACT. This allows me to be a further asset to any team knowing I keep solid grades and can manage my time to not only get better at this sport, but become the best I can be academically. My biggest accomplishment so far is being a part of the team that won Districts for the first time at Fort White High School in 2022. My desire to play is out of this world, but desire only comes from putting in the work, and this is what I strive to do! Although I play softball year-round, I also participate in volleyball and soccer to keep up my strength, conditioning, and agility. Whether hitting my first home run or coming up short in the championship game, these experiences make me the player I am and will continue to be. I am determined to put in the time and the effort to achieve my goal of playing ball in college. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you soon!
