Winning the district softball championship as a freshman was the highlight of my high school career. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete that same year when our team didn't make the state tournament. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a solid center fielder capable of playing at the next level.
I was fortunate enough to also be part of an amazing club program, qualifying to play in some of the most prestigious tournaments like PGF. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership the year without a trophy. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact for the college program I attend. As an academic over achiever and focused athlete, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
Softball is what I enjoy doing because of my love for the game and the love of competition. It is what I hope will allow me to attend a school where I can get a great education while gaining new experiences. Softball has been a huge part of my life and I cannot imagine my college years being complete without it. My goal is to become committed to a school that offers new opportunities and high level academics.
